Sandra Duran Wilson has lived in New Mexico or the border of Mexico all of her life. Her father was a doctor and her mother's relatives were artists; as a result, she grew up in both worlds. She is intriqued by the creatvie and inspirational possiblities science offers and equally so by the mysteries of the spirit. She is intriqued by the creatvie and inspirational possiblities science offers and equally so by the mysteries of the spirit. She has always been fascinated with alchemy, the process of transforming something common into something precious. Sandra makes many of her own papers, paints and encaustics using common elements and employs the transformative processes of printmaking and collage. She is the co-author of Image Transfer Workshop by North Light Publications.
