While working at the Harvard Radcliffe Ceramic Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she met Makoto Yabe, a humble Japanese master whose philosophy stills speaks to her today about art and life. Her work is hand built and organic. Color, movement, simplicity and beauty guide her in creating her work. She moved to New Mexico in 2003 and now lives at Cochiti Lake, southwest of Santa Fe.
