Over the years I experimented with many different mediums, and fell in love with clay 15 years ago while attending a workshop by the master, Jim Kempes. It was there I learned Raku firing and hand-building and nothing's been the same ever since. Initially my pieces were flat with built-up elements, akin to bas-relief. Over the intervening years, sculpture workshops and experimentation on my own helped me develop techniques, hone my skills and bring forth my vision into 3-dimensional, free-standing art.
