After receiving her BA in Creative Writing in 2005 Ms. Hinkley began cutting out animal shapes in Japanese paper to make greeting cards. Moving to New Mexico with her husband in 2006 she continued to expand her work. Grandchildren inspired Ms. Hinkley to create large art to hang in the children's rooms. The main characters are often animals depicted in paper cutouts., Ms. Hinkley is currently working on illustrations for a children's book.
