Currently living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Elizabeth has designed and built landscapes and gardens in many parts of the country for more than thirty years. She earned her Master of Landscape Architecture degree from The Ohio State University in 1985. Elizabeth's undergraduate degree is in theater. She has taught landscape architectural courses at universities and has served in botanic garden administration, most recently as Executive Director of the Betty Ford Alpine Garden, in Vail, Colorado. Recent recognition for her work has appeared in Sunset Magazine, Taunton publications and on HGTV for her work with a Santa Fe landscape design build firm. In March 2005, one of her Santa Fe gardens appeared in and received a Western Garden Award from Sunset Magazine.
Elizabeth's design work is informed by a deep, mystical connection to people and place. Aside from the practical concerns of developing landscapes and gardens, she reaches into the stories of people and place and finds that where these two intersect, spaces which heal, sustain and bring joy come into being.
Gardeners Way, a non-profit corporation ministering through the wisdom of nature, was established in 2000. "Removing My Seed Coat" is her first produced and distributed work.
