Dominique was born in Flanders, Belgium where she studied fine arts. In 1989 she moved to the Washington, D.C. area and studied painting at the Corcoran College of Fine Arts. From 1998-2001 she lived and worked in Lima, Peru. In 2002 she had a studio and was an art teacher in the Torpedo Factory Art enter in Alexandria, Virginia. She now lives and works in New Mexico.
