When I was in my twenties I mentored under a clossione’ enamellist, Phyl Lauer. I made a big move to the southwest in the early 80's which had a big impact on my art. I painted landscapes with big skies and wildlife at first. Thru my art career I always seemed to go back to more tactile, textural art-fiber art and then into mixed media.
