In the early 1900’s the New Mexico landscape became an inspiration for artists and poets making the arduous journey from the eastern United States. The artist colonies they developed expanded the already rich cultural life that the new state offered. One hundred years later, the light and color of the vast New Mexico land and sky continue to work their magic.
