With an early focus on inner creativity, Katherine received the top International Baccalaureate Art Prize for the Northern Hemisphere in 2001. Her family congratulated her at the time with a small, pretty blue opal, for which she made a simple ring setting. her inspiration started there, and continued to evolve as she first went on to acquire a Bachelors Degree in Clinical Psychology for University College of London and then a foundation in finance at JP Morgan.
In time, Katherine was drawn back to her passion of design and fine jewelry. She attended the globally renowned and prestigious Gemological Institute of America and is a certified Gemologist. Katherine went on to workl for DeBeers and other designer jewelers in both Europe and the US. Now living in Santa Fe, New Mexico she has established a successful business designing her own proprietary lines and one of a kind jewelry pieces for private clients.
