La Musica de los Viejitos: Hispano Folk Music of the Rio Grande del Norte (CD) features 93 folk songs that prevailed among 'la gente' in Hispano New Mexico and southern Colorado during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. They were selected from from over 4,000 folk songs recorded by Jack Loeffler between 1976 and 1998 in the homes of the musicians.
