Unique and beautiful fabric and acrylic collage entitled Road to Taos. Collage is made upon gessoed masonite panel, featuring a landscape of night sky, red moon, abstracted mountains and the road. Each collage features calico and batik fabric, acrylic medium and and acrylic ultra-violet varnish, to impede fading. Alex has created his own technique using traditional family materials and traditions learned from his mother and grandmother. Each painting is signed.
