Unique and beautiful fabric and acrylic collage entitled Winter Returns to Santa Fe. Collage is made upon gessoed masonite panel, featuring a landscape of blue sky,snow on mountain, green, brown, purple hills, yellow and brown adobe houses and red, yellow and black trees. Each collage features calico and batik fabric, acrylic medium and and acrylic ultra-violet varnish, to impede fading. Alex has created his own technique using traditional family materials and traditions learned from his mother and grandmother. Each painting is signed.
