A native of Amarillo, Texas, Barbara has always loved the open spaces and western skies. After studying art at the University of Colorado, she lived in France and England, before settling in Dallas with her husband and two children. While in Dallas, she resumed painting classes and was on staff at the Dallas Museum of Art for five years before moving to Taos.
