A native Santa Fean, Marcey Hess received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Environmental Science from the University of New Mexico. She began printmaking in 1999 after an inspiring course with Regina Held at New Grounds Print Workshop. Primarily focused on intaglio-etchings on either copper or zinc plates, she has always enjoyed all forms of printmaking: monotype, linoleum, wood and lithography. Each of her prints is one of a kind.
