I was juried into the Spanish Market as a Straw Appliqué artist in 1996. My work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of International Folk Art, Museum of Spanish Colonial Art and the United Christian Church of Santa Fe.
My love for this art form has taken me from creating religious images on large alter screens 5' x 3' to miniature retablos 1" x 1/2". In addition to miniatures, I like to utilize chicken and geese eggs as the foundation of my work.
