Tracy Hale's jewelry designs include a montage of sterling silver, gold, semi-precious stones, beads and found objects. Architectural and geometric forms, both natural and man-made, inspire Tracy. She takes note of details discovered in her own mountain backyard and on travels in Asia, Europe and Latin America, incorporating them in her creative expression. Her artistic process begins with a shape in silver, which is then soldered, riveted, hinged, textured and/or formed. Color is then added with stones, beads and patina. She handstamps individual words into the silver, enhancing her bracelets and necklaces with meaning and interest. Tracy also uses several chain mail techniques, which add an elegant look to her work.
