Cannon DesignsCannon Designs, JewelerResidence: Santa FeGreta and James Cannon are a wife and husband team who have been working artisans for more than 30 years. Their work is a collaboration of each one's knowledge of various media. Both artists were drawn to the powerful beauty of the Southwest from different parts of the country. James was born in Detroit, Michigan and Greta in San Diego, California. They met at an art show on the Santa Fe plaza in 1984 and have been collaborating ever since. Santa Fe remains their home, where they currently reside with their teenage daughter. Over the years, they have worked in the noble metals, the ceramic arts, leathersmithing and lapidary.
