Cheryl Arviso, Silversmith

Cheryl Arviso is an up and coming young Navajo silversmith. She sets unusual stones into organic sterling silver designs. Cheryl studied Biology at the University of New Mexico and has infused her artwork with her studies to create completely unique jewelry that is her own style and interpretation of nature.

She has been the chairwoman of the Palace of the Governors Museum "Portal Program", where local Native American artists sell their artwork, and is still very active in the program. She is also a part of the Heard Museum Guild.

Cheryl shows at the Native Treasures show over Memorial Day Weekend and showed for the first time this year at the 51st Annual Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair & Market, in Phoenix, AZ.
